This workshop is for creatives interested to learn how to better write and communicate about their practice. This could be an artist statement, a description to promote a performance, a press release for the media, for your website, an application or an elevator pitch about your practice. It’s an opportunity to hear from an expert panel, ask questions, and/or share an artist statement or short piece of writing about your work (300 words max) for direct feedback. Gain some tools to write about yourself with confidence. Suitable for creatives in all fields.
The panelists are: artist and writer, Dr Jo Burzynska; curator and writer, Jamie Hanton; and journalist and producer, Zara Potts.
