This June, we are so excited to arrive at the Bus Interchange: a place of waiting, crossings, and chance encounters, and we are inviting artists to activate it through performance!
19–21 June 2026 | Ōtautahi Christchurch
Theme: INTERxCHANGE
We’re looking for work that responds to ideas of:
transit, routes, crossings, thresholds, encounter, transition…
We’re interested in work that is:
– site-responsive and audience-aware
– low-tech and sustainable
– adaptive and experimental
Due to the nature of the venue, works should be minimal in setup and able to respond to a live, transitional environment.
We know capacity matters and we encourage you to propose work that is achievable and sustainable for you.
