Calling all Otautahi creatives!
If you’re an Otautahi-based artist or organisation with an idea for a project — this is your chance to crowdfund with hands-on support and match funding.
Boosted is back and thanks to funding partners Rata Foundation, Christchurch City Council and Creative NZ, there are 14 opportunities to fund creative projects around Otautahi this September.
There will be 5 x $3k match funds available for Individual artists or projects, alongside 9 x $5k match funds for organisations.
Projects are being reviewed as we receive expressions of interest, with the hard close date of Tuesday 5 August 2025.
Boost Otautahi projects will each get a chance to:
– Crowdfund with dollar-for-dollar match funding
– Pitch to the room during the community fundraising event at the Arts Centre
– Have mentored support for marketing, community building and fundraising skills
– Get a chance to build their community and establish a means of support.
