Get Funded in 2026!
Calling creatives and creative event organisers with a project you’d like to get funded in 2026. Some of the main grants available in Ōtautahi will be covered in a free 1-hour workshop led by Christchurch Council’s Arts and Events Advisors on 4 February, 5.30pm at Toi Auaha.
These include Creative New Zealand’s Creative Communities Scheme and Christchurch City Council’s Strengthening Communities, Events and Festivals and Place Partnerships funds.
Other formal funding opportunities will also be touched on, and tips provided for writing compelling applications.
Anyone interested to know more about the support available to creatives and organisations in Ōtautahi and Banks Peninsula is welcome to attend.
Workshop schedule: Doors will open at 5.15pm. The workshop will start at 5.30pm sharp and take around 60 minutes including question time. Following the workshop, arts advisors will be available to talk and answer more questions until 7pm. If you cannot attend the whole workshop, you are welcome to come for as much as you can. Pēpi and tamariki are always welcome to attend with you!
