Eastside’s New Mural – Have Your Say

Linwood artist Kophie Su’a-Hulsbosch has been commissioned to do a concept for a mural on the new Stanmore Road building opposite Peaches Cafe. Find her work here: yoitskophie.com.

Part of the brief for the mural is community engagement – hearing input and ideas for the wall that can inform a concept based on the area. Ideas could be around:

  • Portrait/people/animal subjects
  • Stories of the area
  • Patterns/motifs that express different cultures/ideas/narratives
  • Flora & fauna
Kophie is having a drop-in session just outside the wall on Sat 31st of January between 12pm to 1pm. Please come along and share your thoughts and ideas. If you can’t make that time, she can be emailed at kophiehulsbosch@hotmail.co.nz.
