This welcoming class is suitable for beginners through to mid-level artists. As well as learning and practicing drawing fundamentals – such as structure, mark-making and composition – you will be guided in the practice of seeing as an artist sees, self-critiquing, and making the most of your existing qualities. The aim is to build both skills and confidence. Because of the small class size, you will receive individual support from the tutor, plus witnessing the process and progress of your classmates, which is invaluable. The final two sessions will focus on Portrait using a model. The cost of the model is included in the class fees.
