Fibre Gallery is thrilled to announce the National Secondary School Pacific Arts Awards 2026!
We invite students and recent school leavers to submit their creative works for a chance to be featured in our upcoming exhibition and win amazing prizes.
Showcase your talent, celebrate Pacific creativity, and be part of an exciting national platform for young artists!

Prizes:
The top three winners will receive the following cash prizes:
1st Prize: $2000
2nd Prize: $1500
3rd Prize: $1000
Plus travel for winners + 1 adult to Ōtautahi, an allowance to spend during your visit, & accommodation.
Top 5 selected artworks will be exhibited in Ōtautahi at Fibre Gallery in June 2026. Winners will be flown to Christchurch to receive their awards at the opening ceremony.
The ‘Aimata Awards are dedicated to celebrating the rich and diverse Pacific arts and culture, and we encourage all secondary school students to participate.
