Let’s Celebrate Christchurch’s Street Art
The Lady Behind the Lens captures Christchurch’s street art and transforms her skillfully curated photographs into postcards & greeting cards.
Art lovers from Christchurch, New Zealand, and abroad can now not only admire Ōtautahi ’s bright & colourful walls but take some of its creative talent home.
Behind her lens the lady feels most at home – right here in Ōtautahi, the place that sparked her creative journey in street art photography.
In 2021 she started by designing a set of 5 postcards showcasing artwork by Jacob Root (also known as Distranged Design), Zachery Hawkins & Caelan Walsh.
In October this year, she added to her collection a set of greeting cards featuring artwork by Berst and a special release wall calendar for 2023 showcasing twelve artworks by sixteen Christchurch-based artists.
To honour the artwork and its artists all products are limited editions. The cards are all a limited edition of 100, while the calendar is a limited edition of 60.
Created and printed in Ōtautahi, all creations combine the passion & knowledge of local people.
This includes the local & NZ-based artists, the team at the local printing business, and The Lady Behind the Lens. Each piece is full of life, colour, and produced in an environmentally friendly way by using recycled paper.

The limited edition calendars of ‘Christchurch’s street art for your wall’ are available online or at Down By The Sea in New Brighton, Lava Gallery and the Kōwhai Collective.
