Ōhinehou / Lyttleton will be home to a brand-new multi-stage festival named Port Noise, taking place across three venues and featuring a first round of spectacular artists from Aotearoa including Delaney Davidson, Womb, Ben Woods, Half Hexagon and many more.
The festival will take place throughout the port town – including performances at Loons, Lyttelton Coffee Company and Wünderbar, the multi-venue event features not only artistically adventurous special guests from all around Christchurch and Aotearoa, but also will also feature record stalls and even karaoke.
The first lineup release includes crooner gone honk Ben Woods, the return of squelch-hell rockers The Dance Asthmatics, swamp country legend and rural ventriloquist Delaney Davidson, moody hitmaker Ferby, flowing dance dreamboats Glass Vaults, beat hypnotherapists Half Hexagon, modular warehouse raver Horatio Kane, four-to-the-floor master Keepsakes, horrorshow grinders Wet Specimen, and everyone’s favourite psychedelic slow-motion family band Womb.
In a space curated to embrace the industrial grime of our town while expanding the limits of what one may expect from a music festival–– we invite both audience and artist alike to come bask in the wild glory of this shared true telling of the self.
