Calling all artists, writers, and creatives!
As part of audience development and critical engagement, we engage a group of responders for each performance, where artists and writers create creative responses to the works, to spark artistic dialogue, to provide alternative documentation, to allow art to generate art.
Rather than organising reviewers for each of our shows, we instead run a Responders programme.
Creative responses can be created during the performances or in response to the performances and can take the form of any kind of artwork. Responses could include illustrations, drawings, paintings, critical writing, poetry, live tweets, sound compositions, zines, crafts, sculptures. It’s up to you.
Each responder gets access (comp ticket) to the show they are responding to.
