About the Talk
Stop motion is the perfect blend of photography and film making. While it benefits from tangible real objects, lights and cameras, its survival is thanks to embracing any technology that will make this meticulous form of animation in any way easier. Over the course of 4 years, Dale Hayward used the latest in 3d printing technology to bring his epic (but short) stop motion film, Bone Mother to life. Dale will take you behind the scenes of how technology may be the solution for a lot of problems, but it has a way of creating new challenges, sometimes in hilarious ways.
