Wellbeing for Creatives

9 June 2026 6:30pm - 8:30 pm
Toi Auaha Lounge, 5 Worcester Boulevard

Wellbeing for Creatives is a free monthly peer-supported space for Ōtautahi artists, makers and creatives of all kinds. It offers a welcoming environment to connect with others who understand the unique joy and pressures of creative life.

Through guided reflection, shared conversation and gentle wellbeing practices, participants are supported to recognise their strengths, broaden their resources and build meaningful community.  At its heart, Wellbeing for Creatives is about creative people supporting one another to nurture resilience, inspiration and a sense of belonging together.

Wellbeing for Creatives is hosted by Jennifer Maghzal is a multidisciplinary creative and community educator with a background in visual art, graphic design and dance. Alongside their creative practice, they have facilitated workshops and community spaces in the UK and NZ that centre inclusion, expression and collaborative learning. In recent years, Jennifer has undertaken formal studies in counselling, Person-Centred and Solution Focused modalities in particular, to more responsibly support her communities. Informed by both professional training and lived experience, her approach is compassionate, strengths-based and grounded in the belief that creativity and connection are powerful foundations for resilience, growth and belonging.

Just come along – every 2nd Tuesday of the month – 6.30pm – 8.30pm
