Next week, Webb’s will host a preview of selected works from the Bank of New Zealand Art Collection at CoCA Level 1, 66 Gloucester Street, Christchurch Central. This event will take place on Wednesday 17 August from 6pm – 8pm. The works will remain on view from Thursday 18 August until Sunday 21 August, from 10am – 5pm on the two weekdays and 10am – 4pm over the weekend.
The Bank of New Zealand Art Collection includes some of the most important artworks ever created in this country. The full catalogue of artworks to be auctioned by Webb’s in partnership with BNZ will be available online soon. The collection will be sold at two separate auctions, on Sunday 18 September and Tuesday 27 September respectively.
BNZ has announced that proceeds from the sale will be used to fund a philanthropic foundation. The foundation is being designed to help accelerate the work organisations across New Zealand are doing to create a better future for our communities.
