Plant printing workshop
Join artist, Moana Lee, to create a beautiful photographic anthotype print of plants in the Pūharakekenui river catchment using a blend of plant materials and sunshine. In this hands-on workshop you will make your own anthotype of locally foraged exotic and endemic leaves. Participants will learn about this camera-less eco-friendly photographic technique that uses light-sensitive plant pigments to make soft, delicate and often ephemeral images. Moana will also share some of what she’s been exploring through various sustainable photography practices engaged with the plants and waters of the Pūharakekenui Styx as the current Creative Communicator for Project Kōtare.
