In this enriching talk, art historian Margaux Warne will uncover and discuss several of Kate Sheppard’s possessions. Items will include Sheppard’s dresses, held at Canterbury Museum, her locket, sewing box, books, and other intriguing objects, most of which are currently on display at Kate Sheppard House.
Margaux Warne studied Art History at the University of Canterbury and her research focuses on nineteenth-century art. She presents regular talks at Christchurch Art Gallery.
