Belgian international pianist and composer Daniel Verstappen returns to Aotearoa as part of his New Zealand tour, joining forces with acclaimed New Zealand violinist Fiona Pears for a special concert at The Piano. The programme will feature a vibrant selection of music, blending original compositions by Daniel Verstappen with reimagined film music and classical works, creating an engaging and uplifting concert experience. This collaboration highlights a cross-cultural dialogue between European and New Zealand artistry, combining classical, cinematic and contemporary influences.
As part of his time in the South Island, Daniel will also be recording a new album in Otago, inspired by the landscapes and artistic connections developed during his stay.
