Join us for the opening of Manu o le Parataiso (Birds of Paradise), a story of migration by Ana Teofilo.
Manu o le Parataiso (Birds of Paradise) traces Ana’s personal and creative journey through the symbolic footprint of the Pacific Golden Plover. Often mistaken for a frangipani, this distinctive form has become a recurring motif in her work, a visual language that reflects her family’s journey and serves as her guiding spirit.
The exhibition is an exploration of movement, migration, and memory, celebrating the beauty found in our footprints, both seen and unseen. It is a heartfelt tribute to her parents’ journey, her children’s future, and the spaces in between where stories take flight.
Please join us for the opening of Manu o le Parataiso on Friday, 28th November 6 PM at Fibre Gallery.
