The 2024 show earned strong praise fromTheatreview, which highlighted the fun, fast pace, standout performances, and the loud, chaotic audience vote that decided the winner.
This year’s edition features a new lineup of award‑winning comedians and acclaimed poets, each battling for audience glory in a rapid‑fire format that alternates between stand‑up sets and slam‑style performances. The crowd decides the winner using a decibel meter in a high stakes finale. The score is currently 4-3 to the comedians, will this year be the year team poetry gets even?
