Thanks to support from the Christchurch City Council, Show Me Shorts film festival is back celebrating its 20th anniversary at Alice Cinemas this month.
Christchurch Opening Night kicks off the festival on Thursday 9 October with screenings at 6.15PM and 8.30PM.
Tickets include a drink on arrival and nibbles at a reception full of camaraderie and joy with the filmmakers and community in the foyer between screenings.
Other sessions include a talk featuring Christchurch filmmakers and a networking hour with catering sponsored by Te Puna Matarau as well as screenings appealing to kids, horror and sci-fi fans, romantics, documentary buffs, and more.
