Applications are invited to be part of The Ocean Song Project — a youth-led, international initiative that blends ocean-inspired music, visual arts, storytelling, and science to raise awareness for ocean health and climate justice.
The Ocean Song Project is currently building a global creative team of:

This project is rooted in emotional expression, cultural diversity, and a deep connection to the sea. The project team – based in Vancouver – is especially excited to connect with artists from ocean-connected communities!
Musical contributions are welcome in any language or style — we strongly encourage artistic diversity within the album. The only request is that applications be submitted in English so we can coordinate and communicate effectively as a global team.
Contributors will have the opportunity to receive:
- A modest honorarium (for those applying by May 5)
- A certificate of participation
- Connections with other artists through this shared international project
The final work will be released as a digital album by October 2025, with some singles and visual content launching earlier. Collaboration will take place online, with flexible scheduling to accommodate different time zones.
