The amazing initiative that is ‘Stories on the Go’ is back!

After a COVID break, Stories on the Go is back again in the streets. We partnered up with oOh!media to bring commuters in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland the magic of storytelling.

Stories on the Go is a curated and ever-changing collection of stories so you can get your daily dose of words and storytelling.

All you need to do is find a QR code on a bus stop, scan it and read a short piece in English, Te Reo and other translated pieces. You can read it on the go or bookmark it for later.

You will find book extracts, poetry, flash fiction, local history, book recommendations from wonderful librarians and even a recipe and the story behind it.

There are audio pieces and you can watch some cool book trailers as well. There’s a story for everyone!

We feature beloved New Zealand authors and young and upcoming literary stars!

If you are a New Zealand publisher and want your books featured here, please send us a message at stories@thecommutingbook.org
