In celebration of Matariki 2024, Dillastrate are bringing a new live experience to the Great Hall.

Dillastrate have teamed up with Harmony & Rhythm (including a 7-piece horn section led by the amazing Jimmy Rainey) to perform a special selection of Dillastrate’s waiata reo Māori. These waiata have been making big waves in the music industry, frequently charting in the Official New Zealand Top 10 Music Charts, and exported globally as the theme song for New Zealand Cricket broadcasts worldwide.

This stellar line-up of Ōtautahi musicians will be performing new songs and old favourites alike, including a sneak preview of unreleased Dillastrate material earmarked for Waiata Anthems 2024. You can also expect special guest singers to be announced closer to the event, as well as a very special opening act. This is an all ages non-seated gig, standing only. Eftpos bar facilities on site.

This show is not to be missed, and the best way to celebrate the Māori new year, right here in beautiful Ōtautahi.
