Chamber Music New Zealand’s In Partnership Series exists to create professional touring opportunities for New Zealand musicians, and to bring high quality music performances to centres across the motu.
Each year CMNZ carefully puts together a roster of artists which is shared with our network of approximately 30 presenting partners throughout Aotearoa who then select artists to bring to their audiences. From there CMNZ compiles these requests and creates the tours, which typically have anywhere from 4 to 12 concerts.
We are currently seeking proposals for the 2025 Season from groups and solo musicians at all career stages, working in any genre, proposing all types of shows.
For 2025 we are delighted to announce the launch of the Fellowship Programme. This programme aims to provide early career-stage musicians with practical performance, touring, programming, and marketing experience through being part of CMNZ’s In Partnership Series. The programme is designed to support specific genre, instrumentation, and cultural practice, and includes professional development and mentoring for community-based engagement projects.
Please find more information about our Fellowship Programme, as well as our In Partnership application form on our website chambermusic.co.nz/opportunities.
This call for submissions closes at 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Inquiries can be sent to Lorelle McNaughton at lorelle@chambermusic.co.nz.
