Based in Christchurch, for the past 27 years Arts on Tour NZ (AOTNZ) has been working in partnership with national and local government and regional venues to tour performing artists.
The art forms and performance styles range from world music, folk, classical repertoire, Maori and Pasifika performance, jazz, innovative theatre, dance and comedy.
AOTNZ is widely regarded as the single most effective touring agency in New Zealand undertaking this work.
AOTNZ brings people together in under-served regional communities to experience high-quality NZ arts for the benefit of people’s well-being, happiness and health.
The model is regarded by both artists and receiving venues as the “gold standard” in touring facilitation, providing both a guaranteed income to the artist and a quality experience for the audience.
