Te Ora Auaha Creative Wellbeing Alliance Regional Hui
Monday 15 August, 2022
Tūranga
9.30am – 2.30pm
Free to attend, please email jamie.hanton@ccc.govt.nz to register your interest.
Facilitated by Te Ora Auaha Kaiārahi Borni Te Rongopai Tukiwaho and co-convened by Toi Ōtautahi Christchurch City Council, the purpose of this hui is to begin to map the creativity and wellbeing ecology in Ōtautahi, to understand who is doing what, and to look at ways we can work together to help creativity and wellbeing thrive in Ōtautahi and Aotearoa. This hui is an opportunity for those involved or working in the diverse and multifaceted creative wellbeing sector to gather and learn from one another.
The morning session will include a panel discussion with practitioners, funders, and health organisations who will discuss the work they do, the context they work in, and how they are working towards hauora wellbeing outcomes through arts and creativity. The afternoon session will reflect on the challenges outlined in the morning, using the points raised as prompts to discuss ways in which the sector can work together more effectively. A detailed programme will be sent in the week leading up to the hui.
Registration is free, please email to confirm your attendance. If you know of anyone else who might be interested in attending this hui, please pass this invitation on.
This hui is supported by Ministry of Culture and Heritage, Creative New Zealand, The Rātā Foundation, Te Taumata Toi-a-Iwi and the Christchurch City Council.
