Stanza – Scotland’s International Poetry Festival  – presents the first event in its new Round the World ticket strand, featuring two poets from each continent.

The opening event of the Stanza Festival features two leading poets from Australasia.

Angela Gardner will read from her ‘rattling good yarn’ The Sorry Tale of the Mignonette, a verse novel, while Tusiata Avia will share work which has been described as redefining the face of New Zealand literature in its renegotiation of oral and written traditions, and of different New Zealand cultures.
