About:
Christchurch City Council Arts Advisors are available to provide advice and are interested in fostering partnerships and collaborative projects. The Christchurch City Council helps fund the arts, culture and creativity through its Strengthening Communities Fund and Creative Communities Fund. The next Creative Communities funding round opens on 17 July, for projects commencing after 01 November 2023.
At Rātā Foundation, we strive to support communities so that nothing gets in the way of its people being able to make the most of life; together they can care for each other and their environment.
Our funding makes the biggest difference to people who face barriers to everyday things. We work to support those who need it most and who need it now while helping to build a better future where our communities are empowered to thrive.
With a solid investment portfolio, strategic and proactive community investment, and strong partnerships and relationships, Rātā can help achieve much more beyond responsive funding. We think and act with an intergenerational mindset.
Creative New Zealand is a Crown entity governed by the Arts Council. The council encourages, promotes, and supports New Zealand arts to benefit all New Zealanders. It upholds the right to artistic freedom and promotes a New Zealand identity in the arts.
